Facility Updates

After 8 decades of being in business, offices will eventually get outdated. So over the years, we've done our best to keep our facilities looking nice and making upgrades as necessary. In 2016 we did a major renovation of Building 1 adding more offices and workspaces, swapping carpet for LVP, fresh paint, and a host of other modern upgrades. This year, we put our focus on Building 4 offices, our training room, and other common areas.

1.2 Miles of Weld and No Leaks

Every now and then, we have to take a moment to pat our exceptional team on the back for an impressive job. For this particularly complex project, our team was able to accomplish 1.2 miles of manual weld across 3 separate pressure vessels with no leaks detected during pressure testing.

A Day at the Park

This past weekend, Goodhart Sons hosted our employees, retirees, and their families at Knoebels for our annual company picnic! We had just under 400 people attend. It was a day full of fun and family, and we were so grateful to be able to bring everyone together.

Fly on the Run Fundraiser

GSI recently participated in Lancaster County Career and Technology Foundation’s annual Fly on the Run fundraiser. The fundraiser supports the students of the LCCTC by funding scholarships, workforce grants, and teaching innovation grants.

Mold Circulator Skid

Recently, Goodhart Sons, Inc. was contracted by a core customer requiring a pipe skid for OEM equipment. The customer needed a pipe skid designed and installed and had only hand sketches and specifications for the OEM equipment.

Goodhart Sons Inc. OEM Installation for LCCTC

Goodhart Sons Inc. (GSI) recently had the opportunity to volunteer our time to install a hydraulic shear for Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC). LCCTC reached out when they needed to replace small shear equipment for the school's weld technology program. The project included leveling and anchoring in order to install the new OEM equipment.
