Goodhart Sons Welcomes Co-ops; now Full-Time Team Members

In December of 2024, Goodhart Sons welcomed four standout co-ops: Chase, Jayven, Cole, and Logan into our workforce development program. Today, we’re proud to share that all four have officially signed on as full-time employees.

These individuals have consistently demonstrated the qualities we value at GSI: discipline, accountability, technical skill, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Their performance throughout their internship period set them apart, and it’s clear they are ready to take the next step in their careers.

Chase, a graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School and the Mount Joy campus of Lancaster County Career & Technology Center (LCCTC), brought immediate value to our welding team. He recently competed in the SkillsUSA District Competition at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, where his team earned first place in Team Welding Fabrication—an achievement that reflects both his technical ability and team mindset.

Jayven, also from Lampeter-Strasburg High School and LCCTC Mount Joy, has shown a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow within the trade. His ability to adapt, learn, and deliver consistent results has already made a positive impact on our operations.

Cole, a graduate of Garden Spot High School and LCCTC’s Willow Street campus, joined us with a clear focus on developing his fabrication skills. His attention to detail and alignment with our quality standards make him a valuable addition to the shop floor.

Logan, also from Garden Spot and the Willow Street campus, brings an energetic and hands-on approach to every task. His drive and willingness to take on challenges exemplify the kind of workforce we aim to build at GSI.

At Goodhart Sons, investing in the next generation of skilled tradespeople is not just a goal, it’s a responsibility. These four individuals represent the future of industrial fabrication, field installation, and mechanical construction. We’re proud to play a part in their professional growth and are confident they’ll contribute meaningfully to the work we do every day.

Our partnerships with schools such as Lampeter-Strasburg High School, Garden Spot High School, and LCCTC continue to play a vital role in developing local talent. These collaborations help ensure the trades remain a strong and viable career path for future professionals in our region.

By officially bringing Chase, Jayven, Cole, and Logan onto our team full-time, we’re reinforcing our long-term commitment to workforce development, operational excellence, and the continued strength of our industry. We look forward to the contributions they’ll make as they grow with Goodhart Sons.
