MSHA Training
Dec 2024
At Goodhart Sons, safety is integral to who we are and what we do. As part of our unwavering commitment to our core values—Sense of Urgency, Commitment, and The Golden Rule—we prioritize creating a safe work environment for all employees. This dedication is shown through our ongoing focus on comprehensive Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA Part 46) training.
Recently, our Installation team completed both New Miner Training and the annual 8-hour refresher course. These sessions are essential as we serve the cement and aggregate industries, where operations involve complex processes, heavy machinery, and unique hazards. MSHA training equips our team with the knowledge and skills to identify risks and apply best practices, ensuring safety is at the forefront of every task.
Safety ties directly into our company’s core values:
- Sense of Urgency: Proactively addressing safety concerns ensures swift action to protect our team members in high-risk environments.
- Commitment: We are steadfast in providing top-tier training to maintain the well-being of our workforce and meet industry standards.
- The Golden Rule: Treating others as we want to be treated means prioritizing safety and fostering a culture of care and respect for every individual.
By adhering to MSHA standards, we not only meet regulatory requirements but also foster a culture of vigilance and responsibility. This training underscores our belief that a well-trained workforce is a safer, more empowered workforce.
We believe safety is not just a priority—it’s a promise to our team, our partners, and ourselves.
